In early 2017, Dancom signed up to be Dyson franchise holder in Malaysia. Dancom will market and support a broad range of Dyson products including vacuums, fan and purifier fans, hair care and hair dryers.
With a core focus on Service, Dancom have deployed MountainTop Warranty IT, which is a responsive application for customers to register their warranty for products purchased on line. This 365 days 24/7 service have been launched mid of 2017. Functions include full customer registration details and warranty registration information. All detailed information are integrated to the back office ERP.
Bridgestone Chemical Products (M) Sdn. Bhd. , a subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporations, was established to manufacture flexible polyurethane foams (FPF) and adhesive foamed sheets in Malaysia. The organization’s manufacturing plants cover a land area of 14,179m2. Their products are exported mainly to China, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and the United States.
With a primary focus on efficient manufacturing and with a key objective to reduce WIP, Bridgestone Chemicals have deployed MountainTop Mobile Make IT. The solution involves printing of job card with bar codes for scanning at all work centres for online production reporting and monitoring. The production staff at each process station will report start time and end time of each work order together with quantity produced and rejects in real time. Bridgestone’s manufacturing manager will have real time information of the progress of each work order and is able to make adjustments to production schedule should there be any hick up. He also have real time WIP information that is on the production floor. The objective is to move WIP across the entire production process as quickly as possible.
